Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (this "EULA") are a binding agreement between you and Internet Friends Group, LLC (the "Developer," "we," "us," or "our") for the Slide application (the "Licensed Application"). By downloading, installing, or using Slide, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Apple is not a party to this EULA. This EULA is between you and the Developer only, not Apple Inc. or its affiliates. The rules in the Licensed Application may not conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions effective on the date you accept this EULA.

2. Licensed Application; Apple App Store

The following provisions are included to satisfy Apple's requirements for end-user license agreements for apps distributed through the Apple App Store, consistent with the minimum terms published by Apple.

  • Scope of license. Subject to your compliance with this EULA, the Developer grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use the Licensed Application on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the Licensed Application may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with the purchaser via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
  • Maintenance and support. The Developer is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the Licensed Application, as set out in this EULA or as required by applicable law. You and the Developer acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the Licensed Application.
  • Warranty; Apple as distributor. The Developer is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the Licensed Application to you; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the Licensed Application, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be the Developer's sole responsibility.
  • Product and regulatory claims. The Developer and you acknowledge that the Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims of you or any third party relating to the Licensed Application or your possession and/or use of the Licensed Application.
  • Third-party intellectual property. In the event of any third-party claim that the Licensed Application or your possession and use of that Licensed Application infringes a third party's intellectual property rights, the Developer, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
  • Legal compliance and export. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Third-party beneficiary (Apple). You and the Developer acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and that, upon your acceptance of this EULA, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.

3. Description of Service

Slide is a social organizing layer for activity-based communities. The current release lets you find rounds of golf to join, post your own rounds, invite friends by SMS, and chat with other participants of a round. Slide does not collect scores, does not facilitate wagering, and is not a gambling platform.

Early access.Slide is in active development and may include experimental features, occasional bugs, or changes to functionality without notice. We're continuously improving the product based on member feedback.

4. Account Registration

You may need to create an account to use the app. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use Slide.

5. Member Content and Conduct

Round details, descriptions, profile information, and chat messages you submit are "Member Content." You retain ownership of your Member Content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display it as needed to operate the app.

You are responsible for your Member Content. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes on anyone's rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app or its servers.
  • Create multiple accounts to harass other members or evade account suspension.
  • Scrape, collect, or harvest data from the app.
  • Share your account credentials with others.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Slide — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the slide-mark, and software — are owned by Internet Friends Group, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the Slide brand without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Slide is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, except as described in section 2 above in connection with the Apple App Store. We do not guarantee that rounds you post will fill, that other members will show up, or that the app will be available without interruption.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Internet Friends Group, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the app, subject to section 2 and applicable law. We are not responsible for the conduct of other members at a round, including off-app interactions.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Slide at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Your continued use of Slide after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
